File Won’t Open in My Program: Ensure that you have unzipped the downloaded file. All Plixstore items are provided as ZIP files. If you need help unzipping, refer to these guides: Windows | Mac.
Missing Required Software: If you don’t have the necessary program to open the file (e.g., Adobe Illustrator for AI files), you can download a free 30-day trial of Adobe software here.
Font Display Issues: If a font isn’t displaying correctly, first check for any specific instructions from the Author in the item folder. Note that some fonts may not display all features in programs like Microsoft Word. For best results, use graphic design software like Adobe Illustrator or InDesign.
Item Not Working as Expected: If an item is not functioning correctly, contact the Author for assistance. In most cases, they can help resolve the issue.
Low-Quality Item: Check the item folder for different versions. Authors often provide lower-quality sample files alongside high-quality originals. For graphics, use the scalable vector files (e.g., EPS/AI) provided in the folder.
WordPress Installation Errors: If you encounter errors during WordPress theme installation, ensure that you are using a self-hosted WordPress site, not WordPress.com. If you receive a "missing style.css" error, the main style sheet might be in a subfolder. Redirect your software to the correct location.
ZIP File Cannot Unzip or Is Corrupted: Verify the file size to ensure it matches the original. If the file is incomplete or corrupted, try downloading it again, preferably using a download manager to avoid errors. If you get a RAR file after attempting to unzip, use a RAR extractor: Windows | Mac.
